Love is love...
When you love someone, you can't love only the good parts. You have to love all of them, the good and the bad. Hopefully, the bad parts really aren't that bad, and both of you change the things the other doesn't like.
When you love someone, you often have to give more than you want to.. time.. energy.. patience.. trust.. when you don't no relationship can last.
When you love someone, they have to be the most important person in your life. Other friends are important, but if the one you love isn't the first person you want to see everyday, then why are you with them?
When you love someone, you have to be both selfless and selfish. Selfless is giving the other person everything they want and need from you, all the time, everyday. Selfish is wanting the same thing in return.
When you love someone, the other can do no wrong. Truly loving eyes never see fault in the one we love, and true love never faults the one we love.
When you love someone, you have to forgive and forget even when it seems difficult. Love does conquer all when we let it.. the difficult part is letting go and letting love conquer.
When you love someone, their life is your life, and yours is theirs. No one else can share your time, no one else can catch your eye, no one else can make you laugh the same way or make you cry the same way, no one else exists in the world, no one else can hold you the same way or kiss you the same way, no one else can take their place in your heart and mind and soul.
When you love someone, truly love them, time and distance and circumstance and culture and words and deeds and hurts and promises and past and present and future .. none of this matters.. love is love.. and always will be.. the heart wants what the heart wants. You can't love someone just because you want to, and you can't stop loving someone just because you want to.
