贴学校登山俱乐部转发的一封信

休眠火山

以前没有真正意义的爬过山，只是什么都愿意尝试一下。闲得没事浑身痒痒，加上今天又买了双登山鞋，看到这封信觉得有点意思，贴出来大家看看：
Dear Ed,

As a former member of Sheffield Halam's University FMC club and now
Director of Mountaineer Ltd I have decided to contact the
Mountaineering clubs of UK Universities to see if there would be
interest in joining one of our 2005 expeditions.

Our expeditions to Mt Elbrus (5,642 meters) provide climbers with the
full backing of a UK company, English speaking guides throughout and
an experience of a lifetime, see www.climbrussia.co.uk for details.

Naturally we would have to design a package that is suitable for the
typical students pocket and a suitable expedition would be drawn up
accordingly.

A chance to climb one of the worlds Seven Summits would be an
excellent addition to any University climbing programmes so I hope my
decision to increase climbers awareness of Russia is one that is
warmly welcomed.
