3-layer DrymaxX FabricsIn DrymaxX 3-layer fabrics the DrymaxX special membrane is laminated with the outer and lining fabric. For its strength the material is lightweight and it packs into a small space. Dries quickly, and as a compact material it is particularly suitable for demanding use in hiking and climbing etc.

2-layer DrymaxX FabricsIn double-layer DrymaxX fabrics, the DrymaxX special membrane has been laminated to the inside of the surface layer. A special lining spreads and transfers moisture to the DrymaxX membrane, keeping the inside of the garment dry and pleasant to the touch. Double-layer DrymaxX fabrics are ideal for all outdoor activities.

Waterproof comfort in normal conditions
When you want to move lightly and comfortably in normal conditions, choose DrymaxX Classic. It is designed to function optimally both in dry conditions and in the rain. DrymaxX Classic allows moisture vapour to disperse from the body while repelling external moisture.
DrymaxX All Weather
Focus on performance, not the conditions.
There is no need to avoid tight spots and tough situations, even in the harshest conditions. For example, sitting on a soaking surface and keeping dry requires the clothing material to have a five metre, i.e. 5000 mm, water column value. All fabrics in the DrymaxX All Weather group comfortably exceed this water column value. At the same time the fabrics allow moisture vapour to disperse effectively from the body. DrymaxX All Weather is highly suitable for all outdoor pursuits. It is at its best where weather conditions ask your clothing really tough questions.
DrymaxX Ultimate
The only choice for extreme conditions.
In the most exacting conditions of all, there's no room for compromises. DrymaxX Ultimate products have been designed to keep you dry and ready for action even in the most extreme conditions. Their waterproofing values extend up to 10000 mm. That's why they are particularly suitable for activities that require peak performance regardless of the conditions.
'Supercooled rain can be very problematic, even dangerous. In Greenland I experienced the problems it can cause, when all my gear got soaked and froze within a few minutes. Ropes froze stiff and all the rest of the equipment was cloaked in a thin layer of ice. The more it rained, the thicker the ice layer became. X-Stretch The flexible X-Stretch fabric stretches in all directions. The smooth Tactel outer surface of the material, which is suitable for Extreme pursuits, withstands hard wear and tear. The inner surface is the looseknit Cool Max fabric, which is cooling and comfortable against the skin. In addition, X-Stretch fabric is dirt- and water-repellent.
Micro Technology The Micro Technology group comprises all of the microfabrics used by Halti, namely Diamond Micro, Litemax and Microskin. Micro Technology fabrics, tightly woven from microscopically fine fibres, are breathable and windproof. Extremely light, they are ideally suitable for all active outdoor pursuits. Micro Technology fabrics provide protection from icy winds, but let moisture pass through efficiently.
X-Vent WaxX Strong cotton-polyester fabric, made water and dirt resistant with a wax treatment. The fabric is tightly woven, yet breathable. Highly suitable for products designed for outdoor pursuits.
Polartec Windblock-ACT A 3-layer knit with windproof membrane between fleece surface and Power Dry lining. The membrane keeps out 98% of the wind, the remaining 2% circulates inside the material. Moisture is transferred from the body to the outermost layers up to three times faster than in conventional windproof fleece. The material is durable, stretch and non-rustle and ideal for active outdoor enthusiasts even in the coldest conditions.
Polartec Power Stretch A material stretching in four directions and keeping the skin dry when sweating. The most versatile material on the market. Durable outer surface of windproof, hard-wearing nylon, a softer inner of warm, comfortable polyester. Ideal for everywhere where freedom, movement and warmth are important.
Polartec 100 A lightweight multipurpose microfleece ideal as a material for mid-layer clothing. Polartec 100 fleeces are extremely warm for their weight and can be compressed into a small space. The material is breathable and dries extremely fast. 100% polyester.
Polartec 200 This light-weight fleece is a durable and warm material, with superb breathability and quick-drying properties. Polartec 200 is made into multipurpose midlayer and outer clothing for all-year-round use.
Arcty 200+, Arcty Micro, Arcty Stretch Represent the latest generation of thermal insulation fabrics. Arcty grades are optimal materials for mid-layer clothing, because their porous microstructures transfer moisture effectively from the base layer to the outermost layers of clothing. Excellent breathability and an exceptional weight to thermal insulation ratio make Arcty Fleece the most comfortable protection possible against the cold.
StormWall material has been designed for clothing from which good wind-proofing and breathability is required. The Stormwall membrane is laminated to the fleece material, creating a structure which is comfortable, flexible and soft to the touch. The material is highly water-repellent. The StormWall materials also include the Soft Shell fabric used in Halti.s Shelter jackets.
Active Dry is a material that transfers moisture effectively away from the skin and stays pleasantly dry to the touch even in intensive use. The material does not bind moisture, it is very durable and it dries quickly. Halti Active Dry is highly suitable for clothing worn in active outdoor pursuits.
Neotec Lightweight Taslan-structure 100% polyamide fabric, whose inner surface is treated to make it lightly waterproof. The Taslan structure gives the fabric a striped appearance.
Sportwool 7330 Sportwool is a blend of natural and artificial fibres, combining the best characteristics of both. Against the skin, the fine Merino wool fibre (23%) forms a micro-climate, which warms and transfers moisture effectively. As the temperature rises, however, the Sportwool material feels cool, due to the natural properties of the wool.
Velveton Brushed, silent polyester fabric, which repels water . remains light even when wet and dries quickly. Its silent properties and comfortable softness make it an excellent material for hunting.
DownTech fabrics DownTech fabrics, woven from microscopically fine fibres, are lightweight, windproof and water-repellent. DownTech fabrics are used in downfilled products. The tightly woven structure means that down cannot pierce the material.
Schoeller Keprotec Reinforcement material, made from the best fibres on the market, such as kevlar (20%). Extremely strong and durable, yet light and flexible. The material is used in areas of a product that are exposed to the most intense wear and tear.
Salmi zip Salmi zips are made to withstand hard use. Salmi zips fulfil the test requirements of the SFS/DIN/BS standards, namly the zip.s mechanical durability, colour fastness and change in length during water washing. The sure functioning mechanism and quality materials guarantee the zip.s smooth operation in all conditions.
