You are very good, you have a good set-up, a good sense of rhythm and you have a good ability to control grip and trajectory. You can improve the start of the curve to the left where you tend to stay behind with your back. Try to start them towards the new curve before the feet. The shoulders must climb over the feet and the feet must be strong and must be under the shoulders in the change phase. After correcting this problem, try to make this type of curve with greater speed and then with a more intense rhythm. Always try to increase your ability to readiness, intensity and speed of muscle tension. Concentration, coordination, promptness, intensity, speed of action are the keywords

I like the front video where you can see that it supports the new outside foot well. Beware, however, at your elbows! Push down the elbow outside the turn to give more strength to the foot and to give more stability to the whole body. Also always train your ability to be quick and intense in action.

To make your skiing more effective and sporty you have to shift your attention and your action from the shoulders to the feet. It is a radical change of great importance. It is not difficult if you want change. Do not think that you have to turn because this leads you to rotate your shoulders. Focus on the inclination of skis with strong feet and ankles. Do this exercise: climb the slope sideways feeling the strength of the feet and ankles to affect the snow. Now do it again quickly and feel that the concentration is maximum on the feet and ankles. Look for the same feeling of lateral force and incision when you make a series of turns. Force the shoulder outside the turn by holding it on the outer foot.

In the first 60videos we were able to evaluate different levels and different ages.

·      In the intermediate skiers, we appreciated a strong focus and disciplinein the chest position.

·      In the advanced skiers, we found different ways in the trunk and in thearms usage, as well as different skills in gripping. In some cases, anklesrigidity and a static skiing.

Generallyspeaking, the motions and the technical problems are the very same that we cansee the skiers of any levels all over the world.

We believe thatall skiers in the world tend to focus too much on chest, on arms and on basin.In the schools around the world it is actually mentioned that feet areimportant, but at the end of the day, only few focus on them. They tend to lookfor feet effectiveness through corrections directed to the upper part of thebody.  Jam Session believes that at everystep it is necessary to always start from the feet, and to connect them to allother possible issues, that are different and specific for each level.

1)     We want you to focus on feet, ankles, muscular tensions. Balance dependson feet. It is necessary to understand how feet should work, to learn how tofeel them, to think to the feet instead of thinking to the other parts of thebody. Body will balance as a consequence.
1)我们希望你关注于脚,脚踝,肌肉紧张度。平衡依赖于脚。我们很有必要了解脚如何工作,学会感觉它们,先要考虑脚部问题而不是去想身体的其他部位。身体建立的平衡是一个结果。
2)      We want you to focus on the direction ofthe action and on the timing: you need to learn how to choose in advance whereyou want to go, with which intensity and with which progression.

The “request” andthe “instructions” for the balance come from the feet.  From them, the muscles that create thebalance are called. A baby learns how to walk using the foot. No one wouldteach a baby how to walk starting from teaching him how to use arms and chest.
有关平衡的“反馈”和“指示”来自于脚部。从脚部开始,肌肉平衡被唤醒。婴儿学步从脚部开始。没有人会教孩子学步让他先从使用手臂和胸部开始。
Let’s not think aboutstyle, about  form. Parents would not askthe soccer or ping pong trainer to teach style. Let’s focus on theeffectiveness of the gesture, and our style will come out spontaneously. And itwill be the best possible for us.

Let’s aim atspeed. It is not, and it should not be, the final target, unless of theathletes. But speed is the best teacher for any skier: the most skilled one,the most severe and the most sincere!

Good skiing and good control, good ability to tilt feet, ankles and knees. Two small tips: 1) Try to keep the muscles of your feet and calves in tension while you change inclination. In this way you will immediately feel more inclination and more edge grip; 2) during the right turn try to keep the left elbow lower and the thumb perfectly aligned with the forearm, for better swing of the pole, better weight transmission, better body structure. To understand well, watch the video many times by looking at the path of the hands and elbows: good in the left turn, not good in the right turn.

Skiing must be much less tiring. There is a lot of tension in the shoulders also because of the elbows always too high. Try to keep your shoulders high, your elbows low, your face muscles always relaxed.
At the same time train your feet and your ankles to tilt right and left to feel the edges. Imagine not having boots and having to take the edge with the lateral force of the ankles. You have to make your feet active! Also, in the second part of the left hand bend keep the skies in the turn, greatly reducing the rotation of the feet and anticipating the change. Your shoulders must go over your feet and not stay in the old curve for too long. Try skiing in many different ways: very high position, very low, very close skis, very distant skis, high tense or total relax, feet off or feet super reactive. I think you have to try many different sensations to manage your body more easily and effectively. Your skiing can become good and joyful!
