同意，北美技术给我感觉一个特点就是强调Steering。

大家都太注重两个极端（skidding，carving）了,而这中间的steering才是最实用有效地。

Steering这个动作的翻译我一直没想通。 这个介于“拧转pivot”跟“立刃edging”之间的动作该叫什么？

最近看了youtube上不少视频，发现csia会很注重雪板steering的动作，有时候从high c就steering起，而不是纯走刃，出来的弯很优雅漂亮。

和竞技滑法相比，竞技选手的力量看起来是完全爆发型，我只要快、越快越好、如果我比你快那我就是比你牛，这样的感觉；而相对来说，这类业余教学体系的高手的力量感则随时留有余地、看起来更有操控的美感。

1、General performance criteria(基本指标):
> Ski consistently parallel on intermediate terrain at moderate speed;
雪板能够持续以中等稳定的速度在中级道上保持平行
>Show some ability to adjust their technique to a variety of turn types and different snow conditions;
能调整技术以适应不同的弯及雪况
>Control their speed;

(1)Intermediate Parallel Turns
平行式
Control in symmetrical / rhythmical parallel turns on intermediate terrain (blue)
在中级道（蓝道）控制左右对称及有节奏的平行式中弯
>Maintains Intermediate speeds;
控制中速
>Centred, mobile stance
居中，基本姿态
>Direction change initiated by lower body;

>Steering adjusted to terrain and speed;
根据不同坡度及速度控制转向(向心力转弯)
>Manages upper/ lower body separation
可控制的上身和下肢独立运动

（3）Free Skiing:
自由式

Free skiing on intermediate terrain (blue)
在中级道（蓝道）自由式
>Stance adjusted to speed and snow conditions;
根据速度和雪况进行姿态调整
>Show the ability to vary edging with the terrain and turn shape;
能调整刃以适应不同的弯及雪况
>Show good control and consistency, with the technical elements described in basic parallel turns.
在基础平行式弯中符合技术要素表现良好的控制性及连贯性
